Day 30: Creative Art Therapies

When we think of related services within the special education context, we normally think of speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling. It turns out, however, that there are a number of other therapies that target various developmental domains—

  • Art therapy;

  • Music therapy;

  • Movement therapy;

  • Dance therapy; and

  • Play therapy.

Are you interested in learning more about schools that provide creative art therapies or other ways in which to incorporate creative arts into your child’s program? If so, book a consultation at https://www.msrlegal.org/book-your-consultation.  Continue to follow me,  @msrlegalconsulting , on Instagram as I post the latest updates on special needs parenting in the wake of the pandemic.

Have a safe and healthy weekend,
