Day 35: NY Schools Remain Closed through the End of June
Happy Friday, everyone. It’s the first day of May. Today, New York’s Governor announced:
Continued closure of schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year because schools are not ready to implement social distancing;
A decision on in-school summer school will be made at the end of May; and
Schools should begin developing safety plans in preparation for the eventual reopening of schools. Such plans are subject to State approval.
Health Update from MSR Legal: A number of urgent care centers, including CityMD and PM Pediatrics, are offering Covid-19 antibody testing for both adults and children, and some are waiving co-pays.
