Updated CDC Guidelines for Schools

Today, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (“CDC”) issued new updates to its previous guidance for schools navigating the Coronavirus pandemic. The CDC is still recommending that unvaccinated students ages two and up continue to wear masks indoors in school. The CDC recommends physical distancing of three feet between students, where possible, but suggests a layered approach to protection where physical distancing is not possible. In making these revisions to its guidance, the CDC emphasizes the importance of in-person learning.
